Porsche Panamera?

Hey all,

I'm new to the forum.
Wondering what you all make of this... new Panamera model.

I watched the Top Gear videos as well, I'm still up in the air about this car.

I got this in the mail, and I figured I'd share it with you.
(Well the web version anyway)

Everything I read on the car makes me like it a little more. Its certainly a more "Porsche" option to a passenger vehicle than the Cayenne is (just personal taste there). Our local dealership already got in their wheel examples and have part numbers showing up in their computers:)

There is a nice write-up on it in the latest Road & Track.

Also a planned/possible coupe version (new 928?) and a planned ragtop.

In fact, the issue is the "Porsche Special issue" and worth picking up if you are not a subscriber.

Oh, and WELCOME! :):):)

Thursday morning I will be out test driving the Panamera on a circuit with the PCA. I'll definitely take some photos and share my thoughts here on the forum afterwords.

Unlike some here I don't see myself test driving any Porsche's in the near future but I did see a Panamera at the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart last month and they look allot better in real life than in some of the photo's I have seen. My biggest concern is 4 seats, but time will tell.

I have thought of the Panamera as a Cayenne that went on the South Beach Diet - or better still, the Atkins Diet [so, it is still fat, but thinks it is slim].
