1999 rear windscreen attach

I've been trying to find attach points on the rear hoops as several have said my car has to have them. Can't locate anything -were there cars from this year w/o these attach points? Is it possible to fit windscreen clips to the hoops without making a mess - that's to say just a couple of holes, etc?

If your car wasn't originally ordered with a windstop then you may not have the attaching points already installed. As I recall, some of the early cars came with them regardless so you may or may not have them depending on exactly when the car was built. You can buy the repair kit (it's not too expensive) and install the clips yourself. The hardest part is getting things lined up properly along with getting up the nerve to drill the roll hoops.

There are some indented dimples in the roll bar where those holes go, which makes it fairly easy to drill.
