Are you sure? Can someone double check b/c I think that site is double booked. I'm supposed to be taking the skills (riding) portion of the motorcycle safety class there on the 21/22.

Scott,
it is a big airstrip

I am sure there will be a specific area for the motorcycle guys to learn how to survive on the street

we only use about 20% of the whole thing.

Hmmn. I don't remember ever autoxing there that we didn't use the entire thing. There must be another large open space somewhere else on base. Are you guys still using the place that is surrounded on 3 sides by a battleship, view of the city, and industrial complex that includes a health club?

Nope. We moved to runway 25. Your event, however, may still be near the old tarmac location on the northern portion.

Also - Beginner AX School on 6/15

The World Famous GGR AX School will run at Candlestick on 6/15. Check the GGR Website to see if there are still openings. The esteemed (steamed?) faculty includes a number of SCCA National champions and a larger number of locals who routinely beat the National Champions. Seriously, I can't think of better bunch of drivers to learn from.

If you've always wondered what autocross is all about or you've done a couple of events and want to get faster, this is one of the best places to learn.

Hey Scott,

Do you remember what pressures you used on the Hoosiers when you ran them? I just bought my first set - going to try them out on the 21st.

thanks,

As frequently happens.... you lost me. Does that mean a new (to you) car?
