Yeah, when I was in London, my friend had a smart phone with a built-in GPS which would not only navigate, but also warn him when he was nearing a speeding camera and such. Pretty slick, I thought, esp. if you need to have a smart phone for work anyway.

You are probably correct in that the number of (revenue generating) cameras will only increase in the future, so a device which warns us about them would certainly be welcome

I think I see a flaw in it. Better send it to me for inspection and validation.

Because I never drive fast anymore. The sucker is bumping every minute....

But this morning... I wasn't driving fast on 237 west bound to work (10:30ish). The cop was pointing a device to me.... and V1 never beep... Maybe the cop was playing with the people on the 237. He didn't turn on the device... I highly doubt it.

So it was Lidar?

Maybe it was lidar, but I usually do get the V1 alert. Maybe he was waiting for someone he could see was going fast enough?

I recommend you disable the X band warnings completely on the V1. Take a look at this page... have fun!

Which one are you getting? I think I need to get one. Government is sending storm troopers armed with radar and laser to collect taxes. I just narrowly missed getting another ticket today - thank goodness for awesome Boxster brakes and stiff suspension that didnt give me away too much as I slammed on the stoppers and activated ABS!
