Valuation of Boxster S
I have just purchased a Aston Martin Vantage N400 #212 of 240. it is a fantastic looking car and I am really happy to have it.
I also own a 2003 Boxster S which I love but since I purchased my Aston, a friend that has wanted a convertible has expressed an interest in purchasing my Boxster. I am trying to figure out a fair price. The car has 30K miles and is in impeccable condition. I have owned it since 12K miles. Last year the paint was touched up professionally and so it looks like new. It also has the $5K Fabspeed exhaust, headers and racing cats. ECU reprogramming and the intake upgrade. New tires. Kelly Blue Book has the price for a cherry model just under 17k. I was thinking of asking 18K; the car is in Alaska, so not many to choose from. Any thoughts as to if this is a fair price? Thanks, Martin.

Of course all pricing is local and a matter of opinion.
Plus is it is a '03. Plus it has low miles. Minus it is in Alaska. Intermittent use is bad. Minus it still has the single row IMS. Minus it has modifications. Yes minus, unless it just happens that the buyer wants exactly those mods. Minus it is January weather. I'd say $12.5k. Not a figure you'll like. |

With the ims issue low miles isn’t always good. If you had the ims replaced make a point of it. Otherwise it’s worth what someone will pay. 18k seems high

I'd go a tad bit lower
18K sounds like a decent price right off the bat, but I'm not sure if that's still the case with most people being in a tight spot because of the corona. Personally, I'd let it go for 16 or 17K depending on if a friend's buying. Cheers from handyman brisbane northside
