P0410 & P1411 codes

I have a CEL and the referenced codes came up on my scanner. Secondary air injection implausible, etc. I have a 2001 Boxster S. I can hear the secondary air pump run when I cold start. I've heard that the "change over switch/valve" can be the cause. Is this switch readily accessible? Can it be tested by a DIYer? What else could cause these codes?

these are great question. do you know about renntech? it is a more technically oriented site. you might ask there. here is a link.

someone here may know the answers to your questions, but your odds would be better there i would think.
