The Manhattan project...

...pulled out of the shop and made its road debut today. It was a 6 day install. A lot of that was hunting down some noise issues caused by the Audiocontrol EQT units.

I have to say that 1600 watts of clean power sounds purdy good.

Pics and specs soon.

Re: The Manhattan project...

Leo really came through for me. I suppose like most big projects we had a few snafus along the way. I was freaking out a few days ago. But the guy has been busting his behind to make this thing happen and turn out as a quality job. All the hard work has come together now. Its pretty sweet.

What I want to know is....

how did you fit 2 speakers in each door? I can't wait to hear it. As far as your asking in your post what you forgot, I suppose you intentionally created the suspense surrounding the physical installation. Questions arise such as where did you fit those amps? But I think a bigger question in my mind is how will you accomplish the tuning of the eq. That's no small task. And my other question is how did you select these components? I have learned from my Boxster experiences that there is a huge difference between a well-installed collection of high-quality components and a tuned system. So one day soon I hope to hear the system and learn something about your approach.
