You're telling me?!!! At least you guys have ACs. I've been there at 104F and this is all you have to do:

Start by wearing shorts, taking lots of water, gatorade, sunscreen, and money for vending machines, etc.

You get 4 runs throughout the day. 2 will come before it's so hot that your AC won't do any good. The 3rd is kind of rough. Feel free to skip the 4th if you are worn out or dehydrated. The moment you raise the top in a Boxster, the AC will work regardless of temp. With the top down, it's only good to about 90. Don't forget, Thill now has clubhouse that I believe is airconditioned.

Out there having fun in the hot California sun

Howdy,

unless you have a roll-bar extension, PCA doesn't allow you to run with the top down for safety reasons. So most Boxsters (except mine will run with the top up anyway. Oh btw, PCA rules require you to run with long pants and long sleeve shirt, so fugeddaboud wearing shorts and t-shirt while driving.
What I usually do is to run the A/C at full blast while I stand on the grid and I turn it off as soon as we start rolling.
And yes T'Hill now has a club-house with A/C

Those are all excellent reasons why I never ran with the PCA. :b
