but will it be too loud??? I have no idea how loud is 103dbA.
I think it is not as loud as the SpecBoxster at GGR Buttonwillow event.

Hi,

I also have cat bypass pipes installed, but as I have a 3.2L I still have the two pre-cats by the headers.
I also have "DocDan's sport exhaust" mod which certainly adds a few db to the mix
Long story short: I never had any problems with being too loud on any track (incl. Laguna Seca which has the strictest noise regulations), so I'd guess that you're safe

Our sound limit at Sears is usualy 103db, so you should be just fine...
I would guess that even with all the things done you would probably be under 93db as well.
103 is pretty darn loud even our super zoomy cup cars and other well prepped cars with headers and open mufflers, make sound.

Chris and TI thanks for that video link, I'm sure most of what I'm picking up from it will go out the window once I'm on the course with an instructor yelling at me but it is really helping me to figure out most of the turns. Kicking back with a course map in hand and figuring out markers for the turns has been very instructional. How many days till Saturday?

most of the GGR instructors do not yell

we may speak "forcefully" most of the time, but only yell when the situation requires a bit more, shall we say, emphasis....

Don't worry about it Doc I've been married before and have a membrane in front of my ear drum that was created by drinking beer. It works as a filter of some sorts.

Hi Doc Dan,

Do you happen to remember or aware how loud was my car at Sears Point?
I guess it will not pass Laguna Seca sound requirements, right?
I just need to figure out if I need to replace the original back in the car before my Laguna Seca event on Dec 4th.

If you don't remember, it is okay. I will try to find an iPhone app, to check the sound.

Thanks,
--Clemson
