Hello from a new member in Seattle, WA!

Hello!

I just wanted to introduce myself to you all! My name is Jody, and I live in Washington state, about 30 mins. from Seattle. I was thrilled to see a Boxster/Cayman forum! yeahh!

Anyway, just to let you know a little about me, I am active in AutoX. In fact, I won my class 4 times this year. It was my first year! I also do track days, rally's with my local driving p-car driving groups, and concours.

Here are some pictures of my beloved Boxster. You'll see a black 996 in a few pictures as well. That one belongs to the hubby.

I look forward to meeting everyone!

Thumbs up Hi There!

Welcome Jody, Congrats on your AutoX success, well done!

So have you had the Boxster long? With another Porsche in the family, there must be some friendly rivalry with your husband!

well, for the rivalry, a little bit! the one time that we did autoX together, i won. shhh! hahaah! we don't bring it up very often!

we both bought our cars in april. so, we've completely enjoyed the hobby together. we do tons of PCA things including tours, social events, etc. they are the nicest group of people!

how about you?

Hi Jody, welcome aboard. Quite the resume you've compiled so far. Nice car and good to see it's being used in the appropriate manner.

This is a good bunch here and a great resource. To bad you didn't find us about a month ago you could have come down to Lake Tahoe for The West Coast Boxsterfest. Go to the events section and you can see some of the pictures. There are a number of Boxster owners on this board from Northwest. Again welcome aboard.

Nice gathering. I also spent a couple of years in the Seattle area. Let's see if I'm still good with my geography, final picture looks like it might be in the area of Snoqualmie pass. Am I in the ballpark?
