18" SportClassic II Wheels

What do people think of the SportClassic II wheels? The car I'm thinking about getting has these on it, but they're not my favorite.

Does anyone have the 18" Carrera or 18" SportDesign and want to trade?

One advantage is that most of the other Boxsters out there won't have them. A downside would be that they're harder to clean. If you're buying used from a dealer perhaps the dealer will trade them out. Another option would be to check with Wheel Enhancement.

I know what you mean. I have not seen may Boxsters with these wheels, I have a 2004 with 17-inch Boxster S II wheel. I am not pleased with these Alloy wheels either, but I do plan to upgrade to 18" or possible 19" wheels, but I am concerned about the ride on 19".
Nevertheless, the link you show, and the wheels pictured appeared to be a two piece alloy. Have you considered powder coating the inner portion to match the Boxster you're buying? I helped a friend do this for his Black "S" and it is spectacular.
