Boxster Values over time

I'm looking at used Boxsters and S's, too. Probably in the $20-30K range.
I have a couple of general questions.

Are there any model years to avoid for the Boxster or the S?

Would you recommend a high mileage, older S or a newer Boxster.

Looks to me like the values converge at around 50K miles. (I've actually created charts)
Would you recommend a 200 or 2001 with 20K miles or an 03 with 45-50K miles?

Thanks in Advance.

Good questions...

I think you'll hear most people recommend buying the newest you can afford (for the improvements, i.e. glass rear window in 2003). The mileage difference shouldn't be a concern, if the 50k Boxster has been well maintained and is in clean condition it is as attractive as an older model with fewer miles IMHO.

Good luck.
