Who's black Boxster did I see today @ Sporttech

Picked up my boxcar up from Sporttech after my Eibach springs got installed.
I couldn't help notice a black Boxster which aparently got "the whole suspension works" done:
Adjustable sway bars front and rear, new control arms, I think I also saw new coil over suspension. Is this the car of a Babbler ?

it belongs to Grantsfo (Grant) He traded his chop top blue 914-6 racecar for it a couple of weeks ago.

he went with KW coil overs, GT3 sways, GT3 A arms and a few other goodies. He is also doing headers and muffler.

it should be pretty quick when it is done. Eventually it will become a "Super Spec Boxster" when it gets caged, gutted, etc.....

for now he is planning on driving it on the street/track/AX until it gets more modified.

Yep thats my beast. Should be fun. Now I just need to figure out which motor I will drop in this car. V8 is very tempting.

For right now it will be fun street/track car. In a couple months it will be a little more crazy.

went down to Sportech this afternoon to check out Grant's car.

Looking very nice.

KWs installed
GT3 arms installed
GT3 front bar with Tarret links installed
GT3 rear bar with Tarret links installed.

Alignment done...

should really handle now...

interesting fact about the KWs.....they use Koni insterts....adjust with a knob just like Konis...

Picked up the car this afternoon! It looks and handles great with lower stance of the KW coilovers. Sport mufller with desnork sounds cool. The car is already starting to feel more like my 914.

Didnt install the headers due to bolts being frozen. We will tackle this at a later date.

I did read that KW Variant 2 uses a Koni 8610 insert. I havent run aftermarket shocks on a Porsche in 35 years that didnt carry the Koni name. ...Guess the tradition continues.

Wow had an opportunity to drive the Boxster up my favorite mountain back roads today with the new suspension installed. Car has that great ability to pivot like my 914. Car just turns like crazy compared to my old stock 2.7 Boxster. I cant wait to get the new suspension on the track! This car is going to be a lot more fun than I had imagined. And new sport muffler with desnork makes outstanding sound.
