Will 986 S Wheels Fit on a 996?

I have a set of fairly new Boxster S wheels, and one of my friends with a 996 wants them for a set of winter wheels. All I want to know is if they'll fit? The front have a difference of 2mm and the rear have a difference of 8mm.

I believe the 996 comes with wider rear wheels than the boxster but I don't know the exact sizes. If it's a narrow body 996 it should still fit fine but may look slightly goofy.
