What an awesome ride.

I'm not exactly one to like just anything that Porsche comes out with. There have been many Porsches that I never cared for. But leave it to them to make an SUV that I could see myself driving. Of course, IF I could afford one.

As "Kids In The Hall" would have said, "30 Helens agree. The new Cayenne is the greatest suv ever!!"

And it looks better than the 996, imho.

Thanks for the info, Dan.

Re: And it looks better than the 996, imho.

It's just my opinion. I don't like the looks of the 996. To be honest, that was the main reason I got my S. I love the 993, but didn't want to buy a used car and I just get mad every time I think of what Porsche did to the shape of the 911 when the 996 came out. I'm one of the few that doesn't mind the water cooled engine. I prefer it actually. If I could get a brand new 3.6 RWD 911 with a 993 body (preferably in S2 widebody trim), I'd be happy as a clam.

Until then, I'll just be dreaming of the new Cayenne to complement my S toy.
