Arrow "Drive Your Porsche to Work Day"

PCA Special Annoucement,
Tuesday, October 2nd, 2007 "Drive Your Porsche to Work Day"
There are all sorts of special days to recognize all manners of events, causes, and passions, so why not have a special day to drive our Porsches to work? All it takes to participate is to drive your Porsche to work that day. No registration required, no drivers' meeting. There will be special feel-good points for waving at other Porsche drivers or flashing your headlights.

So mark your calendars for Tuesday, October 2.

October 2nd, 2007 is the annual "Drive Your Porsche to Work Day", as declared by Porsche Club Of America.

Many owners consider their Porsche to be a special car and only drive it occasionally. PCA thinks driving your Porsche to work, at least one day a year, is an excellent way to demonstrate just how popular Porsche really are.

Actually, most of the Porsche owners I know do drive their cars on a regular basis, which is good; cars are meant to be enjoyed, not to sit in a garage gathering dust.

Every day (except most weekends) is, "Drive Your Porsche to Work Day" for me!

I like to go beyond the call of duty!

This sank in a little bit, and I was thinking that it's kind of a shame that these wonderful cars, that are such a pleasure to drive, need to have a day like this.

Hope to see more cars on the road!

Yes, I agree there are some cars that are not driven that often.
Some are garaged and driven just for the week-ends or whatever.

I drive my car a few times to work during the week but not everyday. Because I carpool to San Francisco to work. Actually it makes it fun waiting to drive the car. Something to look forward too.

How about all Babbler's who participate in "Drive Your Porsche to Work Day" to post photos on the Babbler's Web site?

Maybe this afternoon...

This morning on the island it would be paddle to work, something I prefer not to subject the car too!

Not that I don't drive it, a couple of weeks ago we decided to join the gang (VIR-PCA) and go for lunch... the round trip was 625 km's and took 12 hours!

Who said it's a garage queen!
