Error codes
Hello guys
In Europe I have bought a 2009 porsche carrera (PDK) . I totally love it  , however lately I get the check engine light on. Using an ODB2 connector and Torque I get this errors. First one is with RED (I guess this is bad) Second is with yellow Fault log report generated by Torque for Android =============================================== Vehicle VIN: Not present Vehicle Manufacturer: Unknown Vehicle Calibration ID: Not present Current Fault Log ------------------ P2097: Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Too Rich bank1 P2A01: O2 Sensor Circuit Range/Performance bank1 Sensor2 P2196: O2 Sensor Signal Stuck Rich bank1 Sensor1 P0441: Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow P2197: O2 Sensor Signal Stuck Lean bank2 Sensor1 B2AAA: Unknown code - More information may be available on the web Pending Fault Log ------------------ P2196: O2 Sensor Signal Stuck Rich bank1 Sensor1 P2097: Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Too Rich bank1 Historic Fault Log ------------------ P2097: Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Too Rich bank1 End of report. The rest are just presented on the screen. I would like some advice before I go to the mechanics here in Romania (probably they see 1 porsche / month). Thank you in advance. |

Looks like an exhaust leak or a contaminated oxygen sensor on bank 1.

well since the car was parked for more than a month I guess this may be the problem. I have read that a quick fix may be to reset the sensors. Before replacing them.

there is a Porsche cable can turn the check engine light off
but not sure if can work on this situation.. it is called Porsche piwis cable |
