What weight oil for 98 Boxstre?

What weight Mobile 1 for a 98 Boxster that will be driven across the country in very hot weather and including a couple of track days in very hot weather???? 0-40 or 15-50???

Personally, I would go with 15W-50.

My choice is ...



as well. That's what I put exclusively in my '98.

Porsche's latest "approved oils" list (as of March 2008) allows:
0W-40
5W-40
5W-50 (Mobil 1 only)

Total Quartz 9000 is what I use.
