Yes, I was a bit ticked off myself about that (I ran in "Blue", being the one's who got to run in the wet).

But then I thought
a) at least I was IN the car when it was pouring and not doing track duty (which at certain locations included relocating cones which FLOATED away)
b) and that's why I run in the "Fun" group lots of fun and only an itsy bit of frustration that my times which were initially OK got "blown" away by the last run group....

Chris-

Nice Run. This is what we like to see on this Forum!

Are you running anything special on that suspension of yours?

Thanks again for the vid!

Thanks for the nice comment

About the suspension, yes it's on my wishlist:

WISHLIST:
----------
1.) Michelin Pilot Sport or Yokohama Advan AD07 ($1,200 ~ $2,000)
2.) Bilstein PSS9 ($3,000)
3.) 18" wheels ($1,000)
4.) 3.6L upgrade ($15,000)
5.) GT3 seats ($3,000)
6.) S-car-go headers and race cat ($3,000)

So let's see what I can afford:
1.) Yokohama AVS 100 ($400)
2.) 17" stock wheels ($0)
3.) GHL exhaust ($500) for da noize and about a 0.001 hp gain
4.) CGI lock device ($35) to plant my butt a bit firmer in the seat
5.) B&M short shifter ($200), so I can hit reverse faster when I actually want to downshift to 1st (I didn't post THAT video with the grinding noise from the transmission)
6.) 1/2 degree more chamber on the fronts ($120)

But honestly: I am in my second Auto-X year and first track-day year and the BEST investment is seat time, seat time and more seat time; but I keep on dreaming...
As my buddy Julien says: I feel the need for speed but I also feel the need to pay my mortgage
