Dead Battery

Hi There,

Just got my insurance yesterday, thought I would go for a nice drive, and to my surprise the battery was completely dead ( I mean dead, would not take a charge after being on the charger for 2 hours). The car is an 04 S with 7000 miles on it, I installed clear side marker lights about six weeks ago and the car started fine at that time. I am thinking about taking the battery to a battery doctor to see if they can rejuevinate it or not, if not, can someone please advise me of a brand of battery to replace it with or should I go to the dealership and pay through the nose. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the info,

The battery doc couldn't fix, ended up getting a good aftermarket battery, never did go to Porsche to get a price.
