Any time you guys can make it down is fine. I'm here now, we'll start grilling probably around 11 and we'll be here until everyone stops having fun!

Did not have much time but, I went by to meet Alden. Really nice guy and knows his stuff! I would encourage you to go by and get to know him. I think it is fantastic that we have new blood in the bay area. He is excited to work on your car as opposed to you are lucky he will work on your car! A young independent certified Porsche mechanic!! I would suggest you drop by now to get your work done. He is available by appointment on Saturdays and his calendar is filling up quickly.

Regards,

James

Alden, thanks for putting on this event! You and Heather are wonderful hosts. It was a pleasure meeting some new Babblers, Terry and Echoboy as well as seeing many familiar faces.

I'll post some pics a soon as I get the camera I left behind.

Thanks to everyone for coming! If you missed it and still need a cheap oil change, brake flush, or anything else for that matter feel free to give me a call and set up an appointment.

I'm planning to do an event like this about every 6 months so keep an eye out for the next post.

It was great to meet some of the fellow babblers members. Much thanks to BoxsterBob for making the shrimp boil. That was simply awesome. Alden Flint is a great guy. I really like the personable feel of his operation and Heather(his wife) is such a nice person. For me, the distinguishing feature about his ship is the fact that he alone works on all the cars in his shop. I think that is so refreshing esp in this day and afe when we often don't know who are actually the people working on our cars, like at dealers or large shops. I think it's worthwhile to keep him in mind for additional opinions if you need work or maintenance done.

In any which case, a big holler of thanks to Alden for sponsoring the event Saturday. Worth the drive from Oakland to Campbell!

It was a fun event. It is always nice to meet some new people too. Alden did an oil change and brake flush for me. He also inspected a few issues that I've noticed with my car, gave me quotes for what needed to be done, and stressed what was or wasn't urgent. He's a very honest and friendly individual. A+

If you're in the South Bay and need some work done, give him a call.
