Suspension 93k miles. What would you do?
So I thoroughly enjoyed the way my 2003 Boxster S has handled for the past 93,000 miles. I believe my rear track arm (based upon what I have researched on the web) is bad. Since I am not an expert and since my last Internet diagnosis was not exactly correct I am taking my car to Fremont Porsche to have them give me an assessment of my suspension. I expect I will have some good parts and some bad parts. What I want to do is develop a strategy for what I want my suspension to be when I am done.
Were it no for having to spend money on my suspension I would not Change a thing. That being said, I would like a little less roll in the front. While the shocks are nice adjustable would be a real bonus. Not really wanting to lower it as I drive it daily and road trips. I just got back from San Diego and a stiff suspension would have been torturing. What would you do keep it stock or an aftermarket combination? I would appreciate your thoughts Regards James

My OEM suspension was transferring every bump up into the seats when I bought the car at 74K miles and was creating enough problems with my back that I was thinking about selling the car. It also had way too much body roll. I looked at PSS9's, which is an expensive adjustable system, and decided the cost was too expensive and I didn't want a system I had to adjust so I went with the ROWM030 Sport system that Porsche makes. It does lower the car less than an inch all the way around and is a stiffer set up than the OEM (but not as much as PSS9's). Although stiffer all the bumps are absorbed by the suspension and not transferred up the seats. The improvement in handling was evident driving it home from where it was installed and Sonnen got me the system for $960+tax. It has been one of the best upgrades I've made.

I think you really have to visit an expert shop for this and it may cost you a lot. Roughly about $950 to $1000. Cincinnati Headstones
