Porsche Cars North America Reports April U.S. Sales

ATLANTA, May 3 /CNW/ -- Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), importer and distributor of Porsche sports cars and Cayenne SUVs in the United States and Canada, today announced April 2005 was the best sales month on record for Porsche Cars Canada, Limited, whose dealers sold 242 cars last month. Sales were strong for all models, with Boxster sales up 70 percent to 80 cars. Porsche sales are ahead 7 percent for the calendar year in Canada.

"With spring has come great interest in our sports cars," said Peter Schwarzenbauer, PCNA President and CEO. "We simply don't have enough cars on hand to fill demand."

In addition, dealers sold 32 Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned vehicles, compared to 20 for the same period last year.
