Alarm

Hi all,
Over the past week or so the alarm on my 2002 Boxster has been going off for no apparent reason. Is there any way I can disable the alarm and retain the remote lock/unlock feature? Thanks

What a nuisance.

Do you know if it's being set of by the interior or exterior sensors?

Do you have anything hanging from the inside mirror?

No idea if it is interrior or exterior setting it off. Nothing from the mirror.

I guess as a quick and dirty fix you could always disconnect the alarm horn until you find out what's setting it off. Another thing to try would be to not arm the interior motion sensors by pressing the lock button twice when locking the car using the remote.

Alarm disconnect

Thanks Tom
I'll do the push twice on the button routine for now and see what that does. Thanks
