why would you want to spend all that money for that?
![]() you could get just as good instruction at a GGR AX school or at any GGR DE/TT in your own car for a lot less money and learn to drive YOUR car instead of someone elses. ![]() I have had students that have done barber, bondurant, russel that have come to a GGR TT and said the instruction was better, more seat time and they learned a lot more than at the professional schools for a lot less money. Just my slant on things.....others may disagree ![]()

aloha dan-
the thing is, i live in hawaii ![]() our track got closed here last year i was signed up to do a bmw/mini club driver's ed in late 2003, when i had some severe problems with my 2002S, which led to me getting the 2004 550SE, and i was waiting for the engine to get a little more broken in before doing a DE in the 550SE the PCA Hawaii is more into concours/show and shine/toys for tots drives than DEs SCCA hawaii has permission to use the Aloha Stadium parking lot for autocross, so that is my only other alternative aloha steve |

well then that puts a totally different spin on it....
I would do what ever school that would be using 911s and/or Boxsters to do instruction and learning in. Learning to drive a front engined or front wheel drive vehicle at speed is totally different than a Porsche (especially a Boxster) not to be nosey but how much are the schools now a days?

$2,895 for a 2 day course
$10,000 deductible liability, you can reduce it to $0 for extra cost they use M3s, 330is, 911s, and Boxsters at laguna seca the only alternative is PDE at Barber Motorsports park in AL for $3000, and then i would have to pay for the hotel ![]() aloha steve |

all I can say is wow.....
that is a chunck of change... I guess I am jaded because of the entry fees for DE/TT days around Norcal. That amount would buy me about 6-7 weekends of track time. doesn't sound like the alternatives are any better. At least it would be in Porsches and it would be at Laguna....
