Roads not Boxster friendly...

As many of us live in the Bay Area, I thought it may be informative to post any roads not sports car friendly... today I drove across 92 - west bound and due to lots of road constuction and uneven transitions, I bottomed by car out twice. I acutally have scrape marks on bottom of exhaust outlet and on the front pan.

I replaced my front brake pads this weekend and found a sidewall bulge on the inside of the passenger side front tire (with less than 10K miles on it). Tire rack is sending me a new one, but that is the second tire I have had to replace because of sidewall damage (the passenger side rear went with 4K miles on it). As you probably know, these problems are not covered by warranty, since the tire guys claim they are usually the result of hitting a pothole at speed. And SF has become a maze of potholes, patches and metal plates connected by increasingly small patches of street.

The really scary thing is that I would never have spotted it if I hadn't had the tire off.
