Air Induction System & SwiftShift
We talked a lot about these at Dyno Day since Dick had the Evo Motorsports Air Induction System and SwiftShift samples there.
I'm going to buy both of these and plan to have a group installation (hesitate to call it a "hack") party. If you're interested in buying them a reduced pricing let me know - I'm working on the pricing today and will send it to you by e-mail. |

Re: lets get this on a dyno...
I might be interested in this also, given price per HP.

Based on what we saw on Saturday...
the BMC filter proved its value and running without a filter showed about 10HP (not sure of torque) increase so I expect the Evo Motorsport Air Induction System will live up to its 8HP claim (and reported in latest issue of Excellence).
I will have pricing tomorrow...the interesting part will be the group install! |

The intake won't be an easy install...
One half of the intake manifold will need to be removed before the factory airbox can be taken out. Once the factory airbox is out of the way, the EVO induction kit install should be pretty straight forward. I was told it'll be a 3 hour install.
Dan, maybe it makes sense for one person to attempt the install first, document the steps and problems encountered before doing a group install. |

Maybe but not if we have the dynamic duo, "Hackman & Robin" working on it
All we need to do is:
* Get Tom Morris to participate * Find a good location to do the install * Get some good, dry weather (unless we can do it somewhere inside - Jeff?) I'm confident that we can do it without doing one install first - we did alright with the CD changer install (but it wasn't a 2-3 hour job and we did have "Tool Pants" to help us!) |

I can arrange an inside shop
near 101 and 880. There are even 2 fork lifts we can use to get under the cars.

That sounds great Jeff! Please look into it and see if we can have it...
on a Saturday or Sunday and if there's power. Is there enough light inside so we can see well or do we need to bring lights? Anything else we need to know? This will be great, thanks!

Dan - I have a 20 x 10 easy up if needed for any of your events. Room enough for 2 cars.
