rain or shine ?

Dan, Doug, Ken,

Seems like the weather fairy ain't on our side this Saturday
I never did an Auto-X in the rain...
What's your guys thoughts, stay home and finally get my Boxster's idle problem figured out - or have fun drifting and get sprayed when you have track worker duty?

Considering the fact that I come from a country where it seems to rain 400 days a year (Germany) I guess I am already too "Californianized"

Rain or Shine...

Chris,

My very first experience AXing in the rain was at one of the Zone 7 AX schools several years ago. I was really impressed at how the car handled in the rain. Almost seemed like no difference - I had new street rubber at the time. It (the rain) is a great equalizer - the times should be rather bunched up Saturday if it's raining. Cars that wouldn't normally stand a chance of getting close to the higher classed cars, may actually surprise some people. It could be interesting.

It should be fun. My only problem is fitting in the car with helmet on and the top up.... I have to slouch over quite a bit.

Hey Chris, Im back in town and regret not checking the Auto X schedual before today! I even had the day off. I would love to see if my new PS2s would be faster? Oh well, there always Muir woods to blast thru, and AMLS at long beach on the tube. Good luck, hope you kick some but. Talk to you soon.
