1997 Porsche 993 C4S Coupe For Sale

This 1997 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S is finished in Black over Black partial leather and shows just under 49,500k miles. The car was sold new in New York and remained with the original owner until 2005, and was acquired by the current owner in 2008. The air-cooled 3.6L flat-six engine was rated at 270 horsepower at 6,100 rpm with 243 lb-ft of torque at 5,000 rpm when new and is paired with a 6-speed manual transaxle. Factory features include 18" Turbo Look hollow alloy wheels, 8-way electric seats, limited slip differential, and more. The car is said to be all original except for an upgraded sound system, a radar detector, and upgraded Bilstein PSS10 coilover suspension.

Overall, this 993 C4S is in very good condition. There is absolutely no lack of power and the car drives very smooth and straight. The Black finish retains a high shine presentable throughout with only some fine swirls / scratches and occasional blemishes detailed in the gallery and exterior walk-around video below. The car is equipped with original factory 18" turbo twists with Porsche colored crest wheel caps. Recently installed Pirelli P Zeros show a manufacture date stamp of 4/2017 and show a good amount of tread life.

The power-adjustable seats are trimmed in Black leather and are complemented by matching carpets on the center console and door panels. Aside from some minor cracking that can be seen on the dash just above the gauges, the interior is in great condition. 49,468 miles are indicated on the odometer, of which approximately 14k were added under current ownership. An Alpine CD stereo has been installed in place of the factory radio. Sound system upgrades include additional rear 10" Kicker subwoofers and a JL Audio amplifier with crossovers.

Service within the last year included a 50k mile maintenance service and a multi-point inspection conducted by The Porsche Collection in Coral Gables, Fl. that included an oil change, replacement of the tachometer bulb, replacement of the A/C condenser fan resistor, new wiper blades, new spark plugs, new air filters, and a brake system flush. Additional maintenance in 2018 includes new A/C, fan, and alternator belts, new battery, new rear decklid shocks, & a new brake light switch.

This 993 C4S is now being offered for sale with its factory manuals, a stamped maintenance booklet showing a 30K miles service performed by RUF Automobiles, extensive parts and service records beginning in 2007, the original suspension components, factory tool kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clear Florida title.
