Guess I was going too fast!!

Hello fellow Babblers, yestrday, while cruising in the country, the windscreen behind the passenger seat of my 02 S blew out. I pulled over right away and tried to save it, but to no avail. I thought it would be simple to replace, but havent been able to locate one. So, Im here looking for advice, or if anyone has one for sale.

Thanks in advance for any help!!

Try the Boxster Spec Racers ( http://www.boxsterspecracing.org/sboxforums/. They get rid of tons of stuff.

BTW - nobody has mentioned that you might have a broken bracket. If you check them and find that one or both of the ones on the rollbar are damaged they're an easy DIY repair.

Appreciate the thought, but mine blew off and quickly became "roadkill"
I am still looking

I think Tom's point was he was asking if there a reason it flew off as they don't normally. If it hadn't been secured correctly or the little plastic clips that hold it to the rollbars were bad.....

Right you are, Mike. My windstop has stayed solidly in place into triple digits and the only time I encountered rattling and was worried it may come loose was when I had one of the rollbar clips that had broken. Thus the DIY how-to on the repair :)
