Question Boxster exhaust tip removal?

I have a 2003 Boxster, does the exhaust tip come off by removing the single bolt under and towards the front of the car? Also is it aluminum or stainless?

Thanks, Al

Yes, it should come loose after removing that one bolt.....they should be stainless but there were many folks that had problems with the tips corroding. Some good metal polish like mothers or Wenol and lots of elbow grease should have it sparkling....

I may have to use an impact wrench, it seems to be stuck, I don't want to break off someting that can't be repaired!

Maybe I will drill out the bolt rather then damaging the other part of the exhaust system...
