What are option codes 232, 502, 584?

This is an often asked question. The answers, after a bit of research turned out to be;
231 16" tires
232 17" tires
236 18" tires (996)
239 18" tires
502 Production in Valmet
584 Storage box above engine lid (Boxster)

Boxster Options

I own a 2001 Boxster, and I found a couple of sites for option codes and prices. The first one is specific to the 2001. Here are the addresses:

For the list of available options both those sites work great. For the special "unlisted options" one needs to do a bit more research.

The mechanical and technical topics are the point of discussion here in this blog post of Porche brand cars. The post reply is asking about the option codes 232, 502, and 584 as consider as the bestessay research about the tires, Valmet and the storage box of the engine lid known as Baxter.
