To address your question, allowing the clutch to slip will eventually wear out the flywheel. If you continue to ignore it, the gear slipping will worsen. If you feel shaking or vibration via the clutch pedal or the vehicle's floor, this is a symptom of the flywheel. I hope this helps. I asked friends from Marietta Drywall Contractors and they both answered the same thing.
