1985 Porsche 911 For Sale

This 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera Euro model was imported by its current owner over 18 years ago and was garage kept in Minnesota throughout that time. This Carrera is finished in paint to sample (color code L999) Nutmeg Brown Metallic over Brown leather interior. The car has benefited from some very well executed modifications including a bolt on roll bar, relocation of DME unit, front bumper mounted oil cooler, high torque starter, short shift kit, upgraded torsion bars, cat bypass, heavy duty Bilstein shock absorbers, Momo shift knob, and more. The car has also been stripped of a lot of excess weight including the rear seats, center console, all A/C components, sound padding, dry cell battery, carpets, etc. However, most of the comfort features like power sunroof, original power seats, power mirrors, and radio have been kept. Now showing 113k miles, this 911 is being offered with a clean Carfax, and a clear Florida title.

Power comes from the numbers-matching 3.2L flat-six, which is mated to the original 5-speed manual transaxle. A $10k+ engine and transmission out service was just completed in preparation for the sale included new cv joints and axles, 1st and 2nd gear synchros, clutch kit, valve cover gaskets, timing chain cover gaskets, valve adjustment, engine sound pad, oil change, air and fuel filters, belts, distributor cap & rotor, ignition wires, ignition coil, stainless steal brake lines, rebuilt brake calipers, brake pads, deck lid struts, hood shocks, and more. Overall, this Euro model Carrera is in excellent condition and runs very strong.

The Nutmeg Brown Metallic finish retains a very high shine presentable throughout with no visible swirls, scratches, or blemishes as shown in the gallery below. The seller states that the majority of the exterior has been repainted, with the work reportedly conducted to a high standard. The recent Carfax report displays no history of accidents or other damage. See this link for the full report.

The cabin is trimmed in brown leather and features a paint to sample bolt on roll bar. An aftermarket stereo is fitted in the stock location, and all interior features are said to work. All of the major interior parts like the headlines, sun visors, seats, dash, and door panels are all original and in great condition.

Numerous lift photos are also provided in the gallery, showing the suspension, underside of the engine, and floor pans. Several photos of the underbody are viewable in the gallery, as are images of the rear compartment with the engine removed. A start-up and driving demonstration of the car are included as well.
